I agree, I understand you need for more space but you should probably dedicate the bigger room to your daycare business. Is there any way you could get more personal space by converting a basement or retrofitting the garage?

legal issues - liability, discrimination (like we can't turn people away for this but we can for that), the fact that you can't price fix by talking prices with other providers unless they post it publicly, stuff like that. Maybe insurance in ther...
I am a home child care provider. The television is not a vital role in the day care. It is located in the kitchen and not in the children's play areas. It is typically on in the morning between breakfast and morning snack, if the children would li...
Like the idea and maybe share how I manage and meet the needs of all three age groups infants/toddlers/preschoolers. Do you belong to a family child care network group. Your idea sounds like something that I would like to start with local family c...

I just made $611 this week working from home for google. I cant believe how easy this is. Im recommending this to everyone, check out this guys google blog makemoneywith-google.com
My day care is in the family room and kitchen only. Do you use one room for sleeping? And the other bedroom you could use as a play room. Where do you do crafts and etc? And I take it you eat in the kitchen right??? If this is the case I think you can take living room back. There is always a way to make things work. You have to try first and than make changes later if needed.
I think the reason you are having a hard time getting the older one is due to the younger group. Parents want ther kids with older children not younger ones. At least this is what I find. My daughter is 5 so this helps me, but yet I just lost all my older kids to K or 1st grade. So as of next week I have a lot of young ones. I am hoping when my daughter go's to school I will enroll one child at her age. We will have to see. One day at a time..
Yes, I am an at home day care. I love to be creative. Every month I re-decorate the day care room. I like to keep the children going. If the room looks the same all the time they get bord. This way my kids walk in and saw wow. The spend days looking at everything and doing there numbers or ABC. I also create games that I put on the walls to teach the kids how to read numbers and etc. Keeping there minds going is the most important thing to me.
How is everything going for you? I see that you are in Indiana. Are you having problems enrolling children??
