We started off the school year with a tie dye party. I only do teacher's kids so this was also a way for the parents to come with their kids and get the kids comfy again before the start of the school year. This was a BLAST. In fact it was so great I plan on doing a similar thing at Christmas. We have been doing "We're A Team" as our theme and it's done great to unify the kids. The phone rang tonight, it was a tiny little voice. phone - "Who is this?" me - "who are you trying to call?" (I have 2 young kids, so it may have been for them.) phone - "Miss Nora, is that you?" This is my first official week of being closed and I already feel like there won't be enough time to accomplish everything. This is the first school year that I am on a teacher's schedule - when the teachers are off I am off. So, I am having end of the year issues - I want the year to be over, the kids want it to be over. I am bored with the themes, I just want to spend the day letting the kids play outside in the nice weather. This week we did sports as the theme.
